Take advantage of the many suggestions of Hikes in the Ossau valley and other valleys around .These valleys are full of natural wonders that you will discover by following the hiking trail.
We particularly recommend the beautiful walk around the Ayous Lakes offering an unbelievable view over the Pic du Midi d'Ossau, also called the Jean Pierre by the locals.
A few kilometers awy the Aspe valley has also a lot to offer :
Discover the Lescun Cirque Rock formations where you will contemplate the dolomitic peaks overlooking the houses of the old mountain village of Lescun, or the Chemin de Mâture, a steep path built on the cliff-side.
Fishing
Torrents, rivers, mountain lakes, constructed water bodies ... The Pyrénées offer a fantastic selection of fthe best fishing spots.
The rivers are called Gave and are flowing through the 3 valleys (Ossau, Aspe, Baretous) to finally merge into the Adour.
The Château de Druon is 500 meters from the Gave d'Ossau.
